Account Specialist /Sales

We are seeking an Account Specialist to assist a growing Inside Sales team at our clients location in the Lakes Region.
The Account Specialist is accountable to increase sales and gross profits within an assigned territory by expanding the customer base and increasing sales to existing customers. You will have frequent internal and external contact with customers, peers and management. You will also develop and implement a business plan to accomplish this under the guidance of the manager, via goals/targets (metrics).
Accountability: Sales -Increase revenue in the assigned territory and assigned accounts -Increase gross profit in the assigned territory and assigned accounts -Communicate with customers, prospect call and search leads -Develop an annual business plan in conjunction with the manager -Monitor, improve and report on results vs goals/target
Accountability: Quotations -Generate quote requests using resourcefulness/methods developed in the selling process -Qualify and quantify opportunities to quote and determine the best course of action -Set pricing, coordinate distribution of quotes, follow-up on all quotation activity
You will also review incoming customer orders for accuracy, deliver offers to operations team and ensure customer satisfaction and responsiveness. Other accountabilities as assigned. This sales opportunity has mid to high-mid level decision making responsibility. Team players are vital, with strong communication and negotiating skills necessary.
