Francis Rehabilitation and Nursing Center, in Laconia, NH, is a 51-bed skilled nursing facility offering short and long-term care in a warm, supportive atmosphere where residents are cared for according to their individual needs.

We currently have a full and part-time Housekeeper positions open in our Environmental Services Department.
Our ideal candidate must be dependable, self-motivated, able to work independently and be meticulous in the level of service provided to our residents.
Must be willing to work every other weekend.

Duties Perform day-to-day housekeeping functions and specific tasks in accordance with daily work assignments and established policies and procedures.
Ensure that the facility is maintained in a clean, safe, and comfortable manner and that our residents and their personal belongings are handled with respect and care.
Maintain confidentiality of all resident related care information to ensure residents rights are protected.
Coordinate daily housekeeping services with nursing staff when performing daily and routine assignments in resident areas.
Clean/polish furnishings, fixtures, ledges, room heating/cooling units, etc.
, in resident rooms, recreational areas, etc.
, using proper cleaning/ disinfecting solutions.
Perform proper cleaning procedures when a resident is discharged and/or transferred to another room/area as well as clean any vacant rooms as directed.
Discard waste/trash into proper containers and reline trash receptacle daily in accordance with our established sanitation procedures.
Ensure that an adequate supply of housekeeping supplies are maintained in utility/janitorial closets and keep supervisor informed of supply needs.
Ensure that work/assignment areas are clean and that equipment, tools, and supplies are properly stored at all times.
