The Senior Center Resource Manager is responsible for management of all aspects of Senior Center programs, including community dining, activities, education, wellness, and exercise; assistance with public relations and community development projects.
If applicable to the respective site, management of the Meals on Wheels Program (MOW), and assistance with outreach luncheons.
Hours:
This is a Full-Time, 37.
5 hours a week - Monday - Friday, occasional weekend for events as needed.

If applicable to the site, also oversees day-to-day operations of Meals on Wheels, and provides assistance with outreach luncheons.
The focus is to encourage personal growth, independence and community involvement in the areas of recreation, socialization and education.
Recruits, trains and supervises daily operation of the community dining meal program (and Meals on Wheels Program if applicable), including an accurate system for reservations and meal counts, reporting procedures, and meal and supply requests.
Manages community relations and marketing of all program and services for the center.
Maintains current information from community resources, services, and program options.
Maintains accurate records and submits timely reports.
Establishes and maintains direct communication with other social service agencies to provide a continuum of services for older adults.
Maintains compliance with health, food safety and portion control standards for meal service.
Maintains trainings for all staff on food safety.
Learn and maintain the ServTracker software program, which tracks meal reservations, weekly activities, attendance, and MOW routes.
Develops and maintains a computer learning center on site, as applicable.
Acts as an advocate for older adults and people with disabilities seeking or in need of assistance.
Communicates with local officials and gains support from both public and private sectors.
Establishes volunteer system for the senior center including recruiting, training, supervision, and recognition, as well as tracking and reporting volunteer hours.
Collects and makes daily deposit for meal donations and completes appropriate cash report.
Completes the on-site cash report for deposits and expenditures, providing the appropriate back up documentation.
Oversees the determination of participant eligibility for the congregate meal program.
Develops and supports fundraising for the center as well as for the department.
Completes CPR certification and ServSafe Food Safety Training to maintain certification.
Maintains communication with outreach luncheon coordinators/volunteers and helps with paperwork and deposits when assigned.
Assist with delivery and serving as needed.
Attends trainings, meetings and workshops as required.
Assists in fundraising activities, as requested.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
The ideal candidate will be friendly, positive, and team-oriented.
Minimum five years supervisory experience.
Ability to work effectively with older adults.
Social/Human Services experience required.
Knowledge of community support services.
Restaurant experience is a plus.
Ability to coordinate numerous and diverse activities, programs, and recreational trips.
Excellent written and oral communication skills, as well as proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to learn ServTracker, our program tracking software.
Some budgeting or financial management experience.
Must be dependable with courteous demeanor.
Ability to organize efficient route plan and work under time constraints of food delivery.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
