Staff circulation desks Process library materials Answer simple reference questions and/or refer patrons to appropriate staff member Share responsibility for building supervision.
Enforce the Library's Behavior Policy KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
Commitment to providing outstanding customer service, at times under trying circumstances Ability to analyze situations accurately and to make minor decisions in accordance with library policies and procedures Proficiency with current technology (software, applications, devices).
Willingness and ability to adapt to evolving technological environments Ability to speak and write effectively MINIMUM
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required.
SCHEDULE:
This is a part-time position requiring 21 hours per week, including two evenings per week and every other Saturday.
COMPENSATION:
Salary range is 16.
95-18.
25 per hour depending upon qualifications.
Benefits are limited to paid holidays and vacation on a prorated basis.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be able to push or pull carts, do a moderate amount of bending, squatting, lifting (up to 40 pounds), stretching and standing for extended periods of time.
